AZ Alkmaar is poised to earn €6 million from the sale of Troy Parrott to West Ham. The Irish striker was one of the most prolific goal-scorers in European football last season and his departure from the Dutch club is nearing a conclusion. According to Balls.ie, Parrott is in talks with West Ham and the London club has already had a €18 million bid rejected. AZ Alkmaar, however, wants a higher bid of €30 million for the striker. The club is currently 4th in the Eredivisie with 3 points and 1 win from 1 game. They also have a match against Feyenoord on 31 January 2027. Jizz Hornkamp is currently sidelined due to an injury. AZ Alkmaar can therefore earn €6 million from the sale of Parrott to West Ham.
