AZ Alkmaar has appointed Joël Titaley as the new coach of the women's team. He will form a duo with former Dutch international Stefanie van der Gragt, who does not yet have the necessary papers to be alone in the group. Titaley, who was an assistant at PSV, takes over from Wouter de Vogel and has a contract until mid-2028 with the eighth-placed team of last season's Eredivisie. Titaley worked for a year and a half in Eindhoven and won the league title with PSV last season. Before that, he was a trainer at various amateur teams and was connected to the Dutch national team for four years as a scout. In March, AZ already announced that Van der Gragt would switch roles as technical manager for another position in the technical staff. Next season, she will follow her license training and will also work together with Titaley.
