AZ Alkmaar striker Troy Parrott is a target for West Ham United. According to Sky Sports, the Hammers manager Nuno Espirito Santo is looking for new players and Parrott is one of the targets. The 24-year-old Irish international scored 16 goals in 28 games for AZ Alkmaar in the last season. He is also wanted by Como, PSV Eindhoven and Real Betis. AZ Alkmaar is however not planning to sell Parrott to a rival in the Eredivisie. The Irish international has three years left on his current contract and will not be sold cheaply. According to Sky Sports, West Ham United can sign Parrott for around £25 million. His former club Tottenham has a 20% sell-on clause in his contract. Parrott has already experienced the Championship, where he played on loan for Millwall and Preston North End. He has scored 51 goals in 95 games since he joined AZ Alkmaar two years ago. West Ham United can use Parrott to make an immediate return to the Premier League. Fulham is however also interested in Parrott and offers him top-class football. This could however work against West Ham United.
